CHASTITY IS OLD FASHIONED

Okiey dokiey, we are all allowed to feel however we want and there's permit to express different views or thoughts and this is what we term as acceptance to own ones opinion. What some folks term as right may be disregarded by others as total wrong. Every human race hold some human standards, values and norms plus principles that safeguards each and everyone's conduct for a sane life in an organized society. Immorality can be but anything that possesses no morality - and there are tons of them. Religious or not, we all believe in the law of good and bad- we must understand that living the virtuous or attaining some degree of virtues does not inherently mean seeking for perfection but striving or better say willingness to improve oneself.

The world is evolving and revolving, denoting and connoting change. This change we try to accept, adjust to and imbibe into. In our modern enlightened society, the segment part of it is our sexualized society-regarding the fact that sex has been tagged as a serious issues of discussion either pertaining it's illicitness or its proper values. Different forms of measure has been taken to control it such as celibacy, chastity, abstinence, faithfulness to ones partner and so much more. So let's talk about this;

Celibacy refers to the choice to live in an unmarried state basically maybe for religious reason avoiding all sexual activity. Abstinence refers to temporarily refraining from activities that are pleasurable which of course may include sex.
The virtue of chastity is but, for everyone, although many believe the concept of chastity has no place in our modern society. We can say the virtue of chastity is the most difficult to write about and unlike other virtues, it is hard to define it apart from its relationship to religious belief. In fact, promoting it is seen as a propriety or old fashioned but the essence of chastity is beyond the suppression of sexual lust or avoiding sex, rather the total orientation of ones life towards a goal.

Yes it is old fashioned, and as a matter of fact, anything old as time is worth of some importance for we do not only refrain from sexual filthiness but with the understanding that how we feel about our body is normal and wanting some sexual pleasure is a call of nature which has nothing to do with the psycho babble of thinking about sex is a sin. Chastity isn't about following a bunch of rules so you don't go to hell, but wanting heaven accepting for which is good.

Sex is such a beautiful thing, we can't afford to tag it as evil even though the value has been cheapened to a mere crap, in there lies the awareness within everyone that it is not  meant to be trivialized and that is what chastity echoes saying we can have what we want when what we want is good for us equipping us to discern whether it is. Part of the natural progression of relationship is sex but when we made it the point it fail over and over for sex alone cannot sustain a relationship even a marriage relationship. Where chastity infuses sex with love and love with sacrifice accepting the core respect and sacredness it deserves between two uniting soul under the applicable measure and discipline saying yes to God's plans for our sexuality in all aspect of our lives.

Chastity is charity and charity exemplifies chastity. The old fashioned virtue so far, held real respect for our sexuality by far.
